Nearest Underground Stations

Russell Square (Piccadilly Line)

From Russell Square, turn left as you come out of the station.  Follow the road straight ahead, cross Woburn Place, and continue walking around the Square counter clockwise until you are about half-way around the Square.  You will see Montague Place on your right. Cross the road and walk along Montague Place, past the British Museum until the end of the block, where you’ll see Bedford Square in front of you. Simply turn left and you will see the Institute on your left (4 Bedford Square).

Tottenham Court Road (Northern and Central Lines)

From Tottenham Court Road, exit the station using the New Oxford Street exit (Exit number 3).  Once out of the station, continue straight along Tottenham Court Road.  At the first street (Great Russell Street), turn right.  Walk for two blocks until you reach Bloomsbury Street.  Cross Bloomsbury Street and turn left. Bloomsbury Street will turn into Bedford Square and the Institute will be on your right as you walk (4 Bedford Square).
