Health Education Association for Learners, Teachers and Health workers (HEALTH) is a forum which provides an opportunity to advocate for health education to be taught in schools and eventually introduced in the national curriculum.

Our Aim

Our aim is to promote health education in schools as a vehicle to improve the quality of education and health of Pakistani children, their families and communities.

Our Objectives

• To develop awareness among students, teachers and community members about the advantages of health education and promotion in schools
• To provide a necessary sharing experiences forum for teachers involved in health education and promotion in their schools.
• To provide a platform for AKU-IED to give support to health promoting schools and to learn from their experiences and the impact of the programme to guide future directions in health education and promotion
