Discussing Cities - Forum on Urban Spaces

Discussing Cities - Forum on Urban Spaces Discussing Cities is a space for thinking, research and discussion of the issues of lived and built environments. Discussing Cities is co-organised by Aga Khan University Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations (AKU-ISMC) and the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London (SOAS).

The study of urban spaces allows for an exploration of society and its actors within their contexts and lived environments.

As an open discussion forum, Discussing Cities allows for the transmission and exploration of scholarship in the fields of material history, urban studies and architecture in a variety of settings.

For more information about the latest Discussing Cities forum, please refer to forthcoming forums. Information about other events related to the study of cities at the Institute can be found on these pages.

Discussing Cities is convened by Nelida Fuccaro (SOAS) and Modjtaba Sadria (AKU-ISMC). For further information about Discussing Cities please contact Modjtaba Sadria (modjtaba.sadria@aku.edu) or Nelida Fuccaro (nf2@soas.ac.uk).
