Dean's Message
The 25th anniversary of Aga Khan University Medical College is a landmark in its short journey. It also coincides with the 25th anniversary of the granting of Aga Khan University 's charter. From being the first medical college in a private university in this region, it has blossomed into an institution of academic excellence in this part of the world. While we can be proud of its accomplishments in a relatively short period of time, the real challenge would be to build it into an institution of exemplary quality in education, research and health care to further the mission of the University. Its alumni who have been its ambassadors all around the world can play a significant role. Therefore a grand reunion of its alumni along with a seminar and Health Sciences Research Assembly would provide forums for interaction and exchange of views among its alumni , faculty and students to prepare it for the challenges of the 21st century.
